An in-depth trichology consultation and magnified scalp analysis, followed by a clear diagnosis and a treatment plan designed around you.
Is this for you?
Book an analysis if you…
Whatever’s happening with your hair or scalp, this is the best place to start. It’s thorough, unhurried and completely personal.
Are shedding more than usual
More hair in the brush, the shower or on your pillow.
Notice a wider parting
Or a thinner ponytail, or more scalp showing under light.
See your hairline changing
Receding temples or thinning at the crown.
Have an uncomfortable scalp
Itching, flaking, soreness, oiliness or tightness.
Have tried products that didn't work
Because the cause was never identified.
Want clear answers and a plan
From a specialist who explains every step.
What's included
Four parts to your analysis
A full consultation takes up to 60 minutes. Everything is explained as we go, and you’re welcome to ask questions at any point.
01
Your history
Hair, health, diet, stress, medication, family history and your haircare routine — everything that can affect your hair.
02
Trichoscopic analysis
Magnified imaging of your scalp and hair to assess density, follicle health, miniaturisation and scalp condition.
03
Diagnosis, explained
What’s happening, what’s likely causing it and what that means for you — in plain language.
04
Your written plan
In-clinic treatments, home care, nutrition and lifestyle guidance, with review dates to track progress.
Trichoscopy
Seeing what's really going on
A trichoscope lets us see your scalp and hair in magnified detail: the density of your follicles, whether hairs are becoming finer, and signs of inflammation, scaling or breakage.
It’s what turns a guess into a diagnosis — and because we can compare images over time, it’s also how we show you real progress.
Before your visit
How to prepare
A little preparation helps us get the most from your appointment. When you book, we’ll also let you know whether to arrive with unwashed hair so we can see your scalp in its natural state.
Useful to bring
- A list of any medication and supplements you take
- Recent blood test results, if you have them
- Photos of your hair from before it changed (optional)
- The hair and scalp products you use at home
How long is the consultation?
A full consultation takes up to 60 minutes. We never rush — understanding your history properly is a key part of the diagnosis.
Will I need blood tests?
Sometimes. Some types of hair loss are linked to iron, thyroid or hormone levels. If testing would help, we’ll explain which tests and why, and can write to your GP.
Do I have to start treatment straight away?
No. You’ll leave with your plan and time to consider it — there’s never any pressure.
Can you tell me if my hair will grow back?
We’ll give you an honest assessment based on what we see. Some types of hair loss respond very well to treatment; for others the aim is to slow change and protect the hair you have.
